Swartberg Cycads’ retail nursery is located in the northern parts of Pretoria, Gauteng. We sell a large variety of Encephalartos species in sizes ranging from seedling to stemmed plants.
Disciplined propagation principals are followed to ensure the survival of these magnificent indigenous species of South Africa for future generations.
About Swartberg Cycads
Our collection, like many others, started many years ago with the acquisition of a few of these unique plants. Since then, additional plants were sourced which added to the variety and size of the collection. We added feature plants prior to completing the balance of the collection. Our collection has reached a stage where we can start propagation, resulting in the formation of Swartberg Cycads.
